Cirrus Aviation and ALSIM forge alliance to meet demand in North America, establish new U.S. Facility

At EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Cirrus Aviation and ALSIM proudly announced a strategic alliance designed to fuel ongoing expansion and address the increase in demand for the North American aviation market. A key component of this partnership involves the establishment of a new facility located in the Southeastern region of the United States.

Over the past several years, ALSIM Simulators has experienced remarkable success, securing approximately 50 new customers in Canada and the United States since mid-2017. This continued growth and increasing market demand have prompted ALSIM to join forces with Cirrus Aviation to further promote their state-of-the-art flight training devices to both existing and potential customers, while ensuring exceptional customer service and support.

By establishing a US facility in partnership with Cirrus Aviation, ALSIM aims to provide unparalleled support, technical expertise, and enhanced services to customers throughout the continent. This collaborative effort will bolster the delivery of high-quality flight training solutions, cementing the combined strengths of ALSIM and Cirrus Aviation in the North American market.

Cirrus Aviation, Inc. is an FAA Part 141 Flight School located in Sarasota, FL.  It was founded in 1994 by former military aviator David Cattin, who remains its President today.  The vision guiding the organization has always incorporated the latest technology to better educate and create the aviators of tomorrow.

The company offers training for aviators from many backgrounds including veterans using the GI Bill, university students through the Liberty University Flight Training Affiliates program, international students on approved student Visa’s, and of course, the local domestic market learning to fly for future careers or just for fun.

Cirrus Aviation has a mixed fleet of a dozen Cessna’s and Piper’s, as well as two ALSIM Simulators, and employs about 50 people consisting of flight instructors, mechanics, administrators, and dispatchers.  It produces about 180 licenses annually, with increasing projections.  Its transatlantic presence allows it to work with both the FAA and EASA, as well as discover products from abroad and introduce them to the domestic market.
