Alsim has the pleasure to announce the sale of an ALX Medium Jet to Central Flying Academy, located at Rand Airport (FAGM) Germiston, South Africa. The device, which will support their PPL, CPL and IR offering, will be delivered in December. CFA had their eye on an ALX for a good while. They had been introduced to the ALSIM ALX at Oshkosh 2017 in the USA, by other flight training schools and it was fully endorsed by existing clients.
The ALSIM ALX simulator offers up to 4 classes of aircraft – from single engine piston, twin engine piston, twin turbine up to medium category twin jet (generic B737/A320). Designed and approved for ATPL, CPL/MCC, JOC and their pilot requirements, the ALX offers advanced technology simulation equipment tailored to your training needs.
In addition, the ALX simulator has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.
Mr. Ian Stevens, Central Flying Academy’s CEO, explains why their school finally selected Alsim’s simulator: “We selected this simulator because it answered all our needs and then some more. We see the EASA/FAA-compliant ALX as a perfect fit as it is an extension of the professional standards set by our training academy. Alsim, which is internationally recognized, has a large R&D department and are certain to remain at the forefront of the flight simulator market. Training and support are top notch and down time, if any, will be minor as all parts and components are manufactured by Alsim and is not dependant on 3rd parties.” He adds: “We eagerly await the delivery and invite the aviation industry to visit our new installation.”
