ALSIM AL42 – FNPT II Simulator – When only the best will do

Airways Aviation announces the installation and operation of the first of a number of new ALSIM AL42 – FNPT II Simulators at its renowned aviation academy in Montpellier, France to coincide with the arrival of the first cohort of the German Air Force cadets under the recent Airways Aviation and CAE Security & Defence partnership.

The introduction of the AL42, added to our existing ALSIM simulator fleet, reinforces the established collaboration with ALSIM in providing the best training experience to our cadets. All our students can expect only the highest standard of training either in actual flight and in simulator training devices.

Airways Aviation provides the initial flight training to the German Air Force under a long-term contract signed with CAE GmbH, the leading provider of training solutions to the military forces. Training will be conducted between the Airways Aviation, Montpellier facilities in France and a brand-new Bremen airport facility in Germany and will include academic, simulator and practical flying to Luftwaffe cadets.

The new AL42 simulator will also be utilized under a new Airways Aviation and CAE Civil contract to train CAE students at their Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) phase of their ATPL training.

The state-of-the-art AL42 is the exact replica of the DA 42 aircraft and has been added to the existing Airways Aviation line-up of 5 other SIM’s currently operating under the French ATO. Airways Aviation own and operate the largest fleet of Diamond Aircraft in Europe and the largest privately owned Diamond fleet in the world and both Airways Aviation and CAE students will benefit from only the very best training experience in Montpellier.
