ALSIM and European Flyers mark a new milestone in their long-standing partnership as the Airliner and ALX simulators are now operational at the academy’s bases in Madrid and Mutxamel, Alicante, Spain. Combining ALSIM’s solutions for advanced airline preparation and multi-stage pilot training, the two simulators represent a €1 million investment in training technology, supporting European Flyers’ “High Performance Aviation Training” approach and its ongoing commitment to modernising its training resources.
In Alicante, the ALX expands the training capabilities of European Flyers’ Mutxamel base. Its generic configuration provides up to 4 classes of aircraft–from single-engine piston, and twin-engine piston to twin turboprops and medium twin jets. The device is designed and approved for PPL, CPL, IR/SE/ME and MCC in compliance with all current regulatory standards. With MCC training now available locally, students can complete this phase of their training in Alicante without travelling to Madrid. The simulator provides a dedicated environment in which to develop essential multi-crew competencies, including cockpit communication, teamwork, task-sharing and joint decision-making.
The operational deployment of both simulators marks a new milestone in ALSIM and European Flyers’ partnership of more than 20 years. By choosing ALSIM once again to renew its simulator fleet, European Flyers reaffirms its confidence in ALSIM’s training solutions and the strength of a long-standing collaboration. This investment also reflects European Flyers’ continued commitment to providing high-quality training and preparing pilots for the demands of professional aviation.
Luis Miñano, Managing Director of European Flyers states: “The arrival of the ALX in Alicante allows our students to complete a key stage of their training here. Multi-crew coordination requires them to apply their technical knowledge and learn to work as a team. Our collaboration with ALSIM enables us to strengthen the resources at our Mutxamel base with advanced technology, helping future pilots develop these competencies with rigour and confidence.”
Leonardo Rodrigues, Sales Manager at ALSIM, adds: “Our partnership with European Flyers has grown over many years, built on shared experience and a common commitment to pilot training. Seeing the Airliner and ALX now operational is a great moment for both teams. We’re proud to continue this collaboration and to support European Flyers as it prepares the next generation of pilots.”
