Visual System

The visual system is very important for 'quality training'. Therefore Alsim developed specific software and hardware to create the most realistic visual system for its Flight Training Devices. This system is so effective, it has been chosen by Airbus to update their A320 fixed based simulator.

Every Alsim trainer is equipped with a Jeppesen database and two kinds of airports:

  • Generic: Comes standard with a runway, lighting system and taxiway.
  • Specific: Specific airport environments can be easily added upon request and include a variety of configurations designed to meet your needs:
    • Runway markings and lighting
    • Taxiway signalization
    • Approach lights
    • Environmental situations and visual effects
    • Roads
    • Buildings/Hangars
    • Car parks
    • Aircraft
    • Trees
    • Control towers

Specific designs for advanced users: We offer our own design tool and will help you design a new specific airfield, free of charge. In exchange, we ask you allow us to include the design in our data base, to share with our other customers.
