The AL172 glass cockpit FTD is a powerful training device that represents the newest generation of integrated avionics, and is an ideal first investment into glass cockpit simulation.

The AL172 provides valuable, high quality flight training simulation and can be used as an exclusive trainer - for smaller schools. Larger schools will find it an excellent compliment to the multi functional AL200 MCC, (that reconfigures with a simple mouse click, to 18 flight models, from single engine to light business jet).

Equipped with a Garmin 1000 ™ system with 2 units (PFD and MFD), 1 GMA and a Bendix King like autopilot, the AL172 offers flight schools a high quality, realistic simulator at an affordable price.

The Alsim team has applied the same advanced Garmin G1000 avionic expertise used in the AL200-DA42 FTD to develop the AL172. Using the same state-of-the-art technology, the AL172 is specifically designed for Garmin 1000 training. The single engine flight model is designed to reproduce the Cessna 172 NAV III (G1000 option equipped) characteristics and is ideal for flight schools current and future training needs.

The AL172 is an excellent training device for both new pilots and  pilots transitioning from conventional instrumentation to Garmin G1000 avionic systems.

The AL172 is AATD compliant . The following credit hours are especially significant for Part 141 schools:

• PPL: 5.25 hours out of the 35 hours
• IR course: 14 hours out of 35 hours
• Commercial pilot: 24 hours out of the 120 hours
