The new flight training centre, Australian Wings Academy, has completed the acceptance phase for its AL 200 FTD, at the Alsim facilities. This FTD is equipped with: Cessna 172, Piper PA-28 Arrow, Beech 58 Baron, Piper PA-34 Seneca, Partenavia PA-68 & Grumman AA5. The AL200 includes a 270° projected panoramic visual system. This is the very first 270°- 5 projector wrap around system installed with the AL200 series. The development was a success due to Alsim's specific software: Warping software TM, Soft Edge TM and the Alsim Visual System TM. Australian Wings Academy provides PPL, CPL, IR and Multi Engine Ratings.
