The visual system is very important for 'quality training'. Therefore Alsim developed specific software and hardware to create the most realistic visual system for its Flight Training Devices. This system is so effective, it has been chosen by Airbus to update their A320 fixed based simulator.

Visibility is represented and can be adjusted from: 0 to 9500 m.
(0 to 31,000 ft.)
Time of day can be set with actual sun position.
Runway light intensity can be adjusted from: 0 to 100%.
RVR (distance of light visibility) can be adjusted from: 0 to 2000 m.
(0 to 6,500 ft.)
Ceiling can be adjusted from: 0 to 32,000 ft.
Cloud layer thickness can be adjusted from: 0 to 39,000 ft.
Fog can be set from: 0 to 100%
Rain, hail, storms & snow can be implemented.
