L'ESMA (France) has expanded its fleet by buying and installing a brand new AL200 MCC and upgrading the one they've been using for two years.
Pierre Keller, Head of Maintenance at the ESMA says:
"We've made 6,000 flying hours since 2000. This simulator is used to provide instrument rating, Multi Crew Coordination courses and recruitment tests for airlines. The main feature is the availability: The AL200 MCC only needs 2 minutes of maintenance per flight hour. Furthermore the breakdowns are very rare. If we calculate the rate of availability (flights scheduled/flights carried out) we obtain a result of 99.6 %. We chose Alsim once again, for their product quality and reliability. Furthermore we appreciate the quality of the after sales department: the answers are fast as well as the shipping of spare parts.
Finally Alsim's trainers are innovative: This latest AL200 MCC we bought is equipped with a panoramic visual system, a GNS 430, and we modified our first simulator to add a panoramic visual system, a GNS as well as new functions EHSI / EADI.."
