43 Air School surpasses the 37,000 hours mark!

20 June 2011

43 Air School announced that its combined Alsim FSTD fleet has just passed the 37,000 hour mark! The school has three training campuses located in Port Alfred, Bhisho and Lanseria, South Africa; and is widely recognised as Africa’s Premier Aviation Training Organisation. The School operates four Alsim devices, comprising of two AL50s, one AL100-1 and 1 AL200 MCC simulator. David Howarth, Director of Marketing says “43 Air School was the first training organisation on the African continent to choose Alsim FSTDs, purchasing its first Alsim device (the AL50) in 2001. Further devices were procured in 2003; the decision to use Alsim simulators has proven to be a wise choice owing to their excellent reliability and their efficient operation. The simulators offer our customers a very effective training platform, supporting our Private, Commercial, Integrated ATPL and Initial Turbine pilot courses. Simulator training is delivered by our team of full time simulator instructors, many of whom have flown and instructed for some of the world’s leading airlines”.
