Alsim is pleased and proud to announce a renewed collaboration with Airways Formation.
The flying school, which operates two training sites, has ordered a third AL200-DA42 simulator to complement its existing two AL200-DA42 and two AL200MCC devices produced by Alsim.
Airways Formation is an established and trusted Alsim partner, which has consistently supported the company, particularly through its backing of and investment in Alsim’s technical program over ten years ago and its involvement in the development of the AL200MCC.
Since Airways Formation runs the twin-engine phase of its pilot training on Diamond DA42 aircraft, Michel Malécot, founder and head of the school, explains: “I wanted to offer my students the same training quality at both our Agen and Nîmes sites, so it was becoming clear that, to maintain a consistent level of instruction, we would need a new DA42 simulator.”
A French pilot training school based in Agen and Nîmes, Airways Formation provides instruction in three main areas: air transport, with integrated or modular (CPL/IR, MCC) ATPL training; instructor training, including all regulatory training courses (FI, CRI, IRI, SFI, TRI); and type ratings, from twin turboprop to twin engine jet. Founded in 1987 by Michel Malécot, the school is now one of France’s foremost flight training centres.
