France is very well equipped in terms of flight trainers. Two new establishments have recently acquired BITD-level simulators: the Aero Tb Sim school in Ancenis (near Nantes), and the Lycée Notre-Dame in Guingamp. With the focus now on MPL and jet simulators, the G-sim is a reminder of just how important it is to successfully complete initial/single-engine training. In this regard, the G-sim is an asset in terms of teaching, marketing and cost reduction.
